Your model account stays yours.
During setup, choose a supported connection for the AI provider your company will use. Model usage is billed according to that provider account or subscription and does not come out of EXO. Your Exocorp balance covers hosting and other metered platform services.

Can I use automatic refills?
Some billing accounts and payment providers support automatic refills. When enabled, a chosen amount is added after your balance crosses its threshold. If the setting is not available on your account, you can always add credit manually from Billing.
How does EXO work?
You add EXO to your account before your hosted companies use paid platform services. Hosting and other metered services draw from the same available balance. 1 EXO = $1 in v1.
What about model API costs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)?
Separate. During setup you connect a supported AI provider. That provider bills model usage according to your account or subscription; it does not come out of your Exocorp credit.
What happens if I run out of EXO?
Billing warns you as the balance runs low. If the account remains unfunded, new spending can be restricted and hosting can be paused. Your company state is preserved so service can recover after you add credit.
Does EXO expire?
No. Once purchased, they sit in your balance until used.
Can I get a refund on unused EXO?
Yes, within 30 days of purchase. After that, EXO stays on the account.
