Your job, in three things
Direction. Judgment. Taste. The exocorp handles the rest. This section covers how that division actually plays out day-to-day.
What stays yours
Some calls only you can make. Where the company is going. Whether a deal is the right deal. Whether the work is on brand. Whether a particular tradeoff is the one to live with right now. These don’t scale with the company getting bigger — they’re structurally yours regardless.
The exocorp does everything else. It picks up signals, forms beliefs, runs bets, makes promises, executes, reviews, learns. It surfaces calls to you when they cross the line into territory only you can handle. Until then, it works.
The loop
The day-to-day rhythm of directing your exocorp looks like this:
- You set or adjust direction — Through a conversation with the CEO. See Setting direction.
- The CEO interprets and delegates — Mandates get updated, teams pick up new work, the company starts running on the new direction.
- Decisions come back to you when needed — Specific approvals, judgment calls, taste questions. See Approvals.
- You ask questions to stay informed — Status, what just shipped, what’s blocked, what should you be aware of. See Asking questions.
- The cycle continues — New information shifts your view, you adjust direction again. The exocorp tracks what you said when, so it knows what was true at each point.
Where you do this
The CEO chat lives in your exocorp’s operator portal — the per-exocorp UI at <slug>.exocorp.company. Direction conversations, approvals, and status questions all happen there. The platform dashboard at exocorp.ai/dashboard is for managing your fleet (provisioning new exocorps, lifecycle controls); it’s not where you direct an exocorp.
